  1. stopw.exe  will monitor your modems online status and keep a running
  2. total of the time you are on line. it is for use with windows 3.xx.
  3. it works great if you have a slip or ppp account with an internet provider
  4. that gives you x amount of time per day or month. after your time is up
  5. stopw.exe will warn you of this. or it will reset the time on the new day or
  6. month. stopw.exe will work with any modem port 1,2,3 or 4. i put the stopw
  7. icon in my start up group so when ever i use my modem it is loged. if you
  8. connect to a bbs or other service that does not have a time limit, just use
  9. the pause feature.
  10. after you start up stopw the first time go to setup and set your modem port,
  11. day or month period and the number of hours you have per day or mounth. then
  12. save your settings by hitting ok and then ok again.

  14. this file is distributed with the shareware version (which is fully
  15. functional). if you like it send me $10.00 and i will tell you how to get
  16. rid of the begger notice.
